How long THCA shipping takes: what sets the clock, and why nobody should promise a day
Short answer
Four things set the clock on a parcel, and only one of them is speed. The carriers' own published estimates, why 'overnight' is rarely what it sounds like, and the dates to plan around before Dec. 11, 2026.
Short answer. A parcel’s clock has four parts: the call that confirms your order, the day it is packed, the carrier’s service, and the distance. The Postal Service publishes 2-3 days for Priority Mail and 2-5 days for Ground Advantage, and guarantees neither. Its fastest service, Priority Mail Express, promises 1-3 days. We name the service on the call; we do not promise a day.

The four parts of the clock
- The call. Nothing is packed until an Operator has confirmed payment, the carrier and the delivery details with you. The sooner you pick up, the sooner the parcel moves. Our hours are on the contact page.
- The packing day. Parcels are packed after the call and handed to the carrier at its next pickup. An order confirmed late in the day, or on a Friday, usually leaves on the next business day.
- The service. Each carrier service has its own published estimate (below). Faster services cost more, and only some are guaranteed.
- The distance. Coast to coast takes longer than the next state over. The Postal Service notes that Alaska, Hawaii and offshore areas may take longer.

These are the Postal Service’s own figures on its service pages as checked on Oct. 4, 2026. They are estimates from acceptance to delivery, so add the call and packing day in front. FedEx does not carry hemp flower, and UPS carries hemp only for contract shippers; see carriers and tracking.
“Overnight” and “fast shipping”
“Overnight” is a promise about the carrier, not the seller. Priority Mail Express is the fastest Postal Service option and its guarantee is 1-3 days, so it is overnight only on some routes. A seller who says “overnight to anywhere” either uses a service we cannot see or is rounding. We offer Express only when the Operator confirms it on the call, and we tell you the carrier’s published estimate for your ZIP code rather than a promise of our own.
Days that add time
- Federal holidays. There is no regular Postal Service delivery on Veterans Day (Wed., Nov. 11, 2026) or Thanksgiving (Thu., Nov. 26, 2026). The weeks around Thanksgiving are also the busiest of the year in sorting hubs.
- Weekends. Most parcels confirmed on a Friday leave the following week.
- A missed signature. If your parcel needs an adult signature and nobody 21 or older is home, it waits at the post office until you collect it; see shipped to your door.
The date to plan around: December 11, 2026
From Dec. 11, 2026, federal law counts THCA toward the 0.3 percent total-THC limit (Public Law 119-37, sec. 781; H.R. 6500). THCA flower then stops being hemp and cannot be mailed to you. A parcel in a truck on Dec. 11 is still a parcel of marijuana under federal law, so we will stop packing early enough for the slowest service to arrive before then. The last packing day will be posted here and on the shipping page. If you want flower before the deadline, order in November rather than December.
